Believe in him and give full support

The controversies started the moment he started to file his candidacy for the position of president in the republic.  Never in his wildest dream hat he would run for the highest position in the government in this country but with the beg and calling of the Filipino who believes in his capability he changes his mind.  His will to make a change, save the country and the people and make this country a better place for everybody especially to the new generations.  It would be a long and hard battle but he promised to do his might to deserved of the 16 millions Filipino people who believes and voted for him to the President of the Republic of the Philippines.

The controversies, issues, and other allegations came up when he steps in the Malacanang Palace.  Many still did not accept his victory.  They think that his foul-mouth will not make this country a better place to live.  His campaign about drugs, criminality, and corruptions is not easy.  As he said, it will be bloody if he wins for President.  Media reporters making the issue worse, and it is really sad that others are trying to pull him down.  Did not support him instead dragging him down and making him the bad guy.  Even so, he still do his job in the service of the Filipino people.  He doesn’t care, as he said in one of his press-conference.  I believe that the President will make this country a better place to live, make this country progressive, can solve the drug, criminality and corruption issues, but he can’t do it without the support of the Filipino people.  Above all, he needs our supports because he is doing it for all of us not for himself alone.  God bless the President of the Republic of the Philippines.

The truth will set us free

It is the President promised when he was still running for the position that he will clean the country from drugs, corruptions and criminally.  The people supportive him because the people are tired of the same these problems and for once wants peace and order in the country and free from drugs.  Based from his previous job as city mayor of Davao, I must say he is tried and tested.  He can do best to make this country a better place to live.  Will make the country rise again.  He is the man who this country needs to do the changes, so to speak.

Anyways the senate hearing on drugs issues started.  People are watching because they wants to see what is going on in the hearing.  Witnesses have been presented and give the information they know.  I really hope that they tell the truth because this will set us/country free from those dirty works of the responsible ones.  Some names have been mentioned in the senate hearing.  The mastermind and the people supporting this illegal and evil works.  This will be a long process.  The investigation is ongoing.  I hope that the truth will come out soon so the country will move on to the next step.  God bless the country and God bless our President.

Just my opinion

One of the most talked about issue in the country is the burial of the former President of the country Ferdinand Marcos.  He is dead more than a decade but not buried yet because the debate if he will be buried in the Libingan ng mga Bayani (cemetery in the country wherein dead President, heroes, soldiers, etc.) is not yet finish.  The reason many opposes if he will be buried in the said cemetery is because people do not consider him a hero or see him as the former president of the country because of the declaration of martial law during his term.  He was blamed for the missing journalists and activist during his term.  Even though, his supporters still believes and fight for his right to be buried in the Libingan ng mga Bayani.

But this issue will end soon because the present leader of the country decided to bury him in the said cemetery.  This was one of his plans (Pres. Rodrigo Duterte) when he was still running for the position of the President.  Debates and rally here and there opposing the decision of the President, but the President is firmed to his decision.  This is to end the gap of the people involved in the issue.  The President, said that he has the right to be buried in that cemetery because once he was the soldier of the country.  And I guess the president is right.  Let us not fight over this long overdue issue.  In my opinion, the President did the right thing.  Past is past, let us forget what happened in the past for us to move on for a better country.

SONA 2016 (State of the Nation Address)

Today, July 25, 2016 is the day that the people of the Philippines are all been waiting for.  The State of the Nation Address (SONA) of the newly elected President of the country.  Many are excited to hear his plans for the country, how can he solve the issues that the country are facing today, especially in the West Philippine Sea, the issues about drugs, poverty, criminality and the likes.  The President is doing his best for the welfare of the Filipino people and for the good of our beloved country.  He promised to have a clean government and that I salute him.  He is willing to sacrifice his life for the people who believes and voted for him to become the leader of this country.  Change is really coming.

This is the first time that I am listening to the SONA of the President.  I must admit that I do not really care back then.  I do not know I just thought that the country has no future.  The leaders are just good in making promises to people but no action.  However, my thoughts changed because of the new leader of the country which happens to be the Mayor of the city where I live for two decades.  I can say that he is a good leader and he can do something to make this country a better place to live in.  He has the heart for the people and he has ears to listen to the grievances of his fellowmen.  God still favors us because he give us the best leader to our country.  God doesn’t want us to suffer.  He gave us a leader who can deliver and served the country and the people with all his heart.   Long live President Rodrigo Roa Duterte.
